(ECW)... is an organization within the Church which unites all women through worship, service, study and fellowship which will deepen and streangthen their own spiritual lives as Christians and lead them into service for the church in the parish or mission, community, Diocese, nation and world. Each woman of St. Joseph's is a member of ECW and is welcome to participate in any or all of its programs. |
| SYMBOLISM OF THE LOGO CROSS - Our life in Christ and serving Christ in the world. CIRCLE - The hope for wholeness in our lives and for others. OUTFLOWING LINES FROM THE CENTER - The many works
of ECW going out into the world. The lines intertwined with and
coming out of the center of the cross as our lives are centered in Christ. Sylvia Slayton - Diocese of Massachusetts |
| Almighty God, we pray that you will bless our work in mission and ministry in the world. Make us so thankful for the power of your love, given through your son, Jesus, that we may pray, labor and give liberally to make known that love throughout the world. Bless us that our lives may shine forth the joy and wonder we share in your name. Amen. |
